Jheri, I see new communities arising that *do* want those who find traditional believing more difficulty. And I see the so-called skeptics coming back in larger numbers, brought by their desire for spiritual community and by the tsunami of change that is surging across America right now.
In your teens you visited us with your Aunt Marion Rouzie, and impressed us then, but now, as I view your list of accomplishments, I feel the recurrence of swoons as in the days of being a Sinatra fan! Seriously, your success is inspiring. Having a grand- daughter doing her graduate studies at Harvard in Theological diversity pursuits,(I am not sure of her present focus, but it appears that her course is following your map). I am eager to see her later this month and fill her in about you.
I called Santa Rosa, talked to Kate, She gave me telephone numbers of you and your sisters, and I learned about your Theology links, which I never knew about before. Since Marion Rouzie’s (Christian Science) and my own hangovers of Reincarnation recall was mutually part of the friendship glue that linked our family relationships decades ago, I am still trying to finish that book about her and my son.
Your web site, though, could easily distract my attention long enough to read some of your work that triggers my interests. Your fabulous parents are, no doubt, celebrating your accomplishments!– With Aunt Marion’s “concerts” as background music…..
Bless You, Dr. Clayton! Stay wonderful! Sincerely, Micki Kluge
